I overheard some kids at McDonalds talking about words that you say out loud and have more than one meaning and learning about them. For example, the word sundae and Sunday sound alike but mean different things. So there is a form of word play, which is the basis of a lot of jokes, riddles and humor.
So today, I say, March Forth!
There was a major earthquake in Chile yesterday. It was a magnitude 8.8 – which is huge. The strongest earthquake you can have is a 10.0, so an 8.8 is very close to total catastrophe. It was so big that it set off tsunamis and dozens of aftershocks.
I looked up the earthquake site that maps earthquakes by time and magnitude. Chile is at the apex of three of the earth’s plates, so a strong earthquake like this does have a major impact on the whole world.

This is a busy time of year. I had lots of shopping to do, so I tried to be smart about when I went to the malls and the stores to avoid the crowds and the long lines at checkout. I spent hours wrapping all the gifts and shipped many of them using the post office delivery, because that was less expensive than UPS or Fed Ex. Then I had to start cooking all the food and extra cookies. I’m exhausted but happy that I got it all done.
So I hope you are at about the same good point I have reached and that you have a very nice Christmas holiday this year.

Have you noticed that most pumpkins grin with missing teeth? Do we need to teach the baby pumpkins how to brush their teeth and take care of them? Or should we just let the teeth fall where they may?
